Marble is a metamorphosed rock composed by calcium carbonate in a very pure state. Its smoothness and relative homogeneity make it ideal as a building material. It offers a sensation of warmth and mainly used in interiors ( lining, flooring, etc.) even though its use in exterior gives a very exclusive effect.
